How To Hide/Show Featured Collections
Repository Home pages come pre-formatted with a Featured Collections block beneath the Carousel. However, If no collections are featured, the Featured Collections block will not be visible on the Home page. You must manually feature a collection to make the Featured Collections block appear.
The Featured Collections block can be added and removed in Central Station (Web Pages > Home Page > Featured Collections > Properties) and some properties can be turned on or off there.
Remove the Featured Collections block by clicking on and highlighting the Featured Collections block in the Central Station Home page editor. A small black pop-up window will appear in the upper right of the block. Click the trash can icon to delete the block.
**Don't forget to click the blue Publish Changes button in the upper right after making changes in Central Station.
Instead of making changes to the selected Featured Collections in Central Station, administrators must login to the Administration Panel in the repository dashboard to select or change specific Featured Collections.
In the Administration Panel, select Collections from the lefthand menu:
A list of your collections will appear. Scroll down or search to select the collection that you would like to feature. Then click the Feature button associated with your chosen collection. (DO NOT select "Delete". This will remove the collection from the Repository.)
A pop-up window with a Start Date box will appear:
You must enter both the full date and time in YYYY-MM-DD and hh:mm format in the Start Date field. Then click the blue Feature button at the bottom right to publish changes.
The newly selected Featured Collection will appear first in the list of Featured Collections:
